Midterm 2

This is Midterm 2 is adding a caption. It is a midterm exercise from the Immersive Education course that I am taking at Boston College. The course is called Discovering Computer Graphics. For details, visit the immersive BC portal at http://ImmersiveEducation.org/@/bc  

The screenshots above show Samus the cat from start to finish.  I used the text tool (A button) to caption the picture. I then used the paintbrush to write my name on the picture. 

Midterm 1

The screenshots above show the kid in the red eye picture from start to finish.  I used the eyedropper tool to copy the color of his eyes and then zoom to cover the red eyes. I then used the paint brush tool to paint my name over the picture.

Assignment 2-1: What is Immersive Education?

This is the introduction slide of the video, explaining why we use immersive education. 

In this screenshot we see that students can learn about nature without actually leaving the building.  There are several walks of life, you can take pictures of them with the camera icon and learn more about them in the description. 

This shows how virtual objects are used in immersive education as "mixed reality"

I was unable to download GIMP due to my dated computer.  Good thing is I'm getting a new one for my birthday this weekend :)
