Exploring features in GIMP

I used the selection tool to draw a shape on my photo. 

I used the stroke tool to create shapes then outline them with color. 

I used the pasted a section of my picture into another picture using layering and copy and paste. 

I used the layering tools and opacity tool to paste an image onto another one and make it transparent. 

I used text tool, layering, and opacity to write text on an image and then make it transparent.

I used my existing midterm 8 to scale the image to half the size using the same aspect ratio.

I then used the same image to do the same thing except the aspect ratio feature was not on and I manually did it.
